Welcome Friends to A Thyme to Stitch
There are many thing to find here including food and recipes, crafts and DIYs, laughter and fun to name a few.  The food and recipes are prepped and made right in my home kitchen, nothing fancy.  There are a variety of recipes ranging from quick appetizers all the way to Thanksgiving dinner, and all that falls between including desserts an some baking!
Craft time and DIYs are a hobby of mine.  After all, one must have hobbies!  I knit, crochet, sew, and much more.  Like the food and recipes you will find crafts and DIYs from simple picture boards to knit fingerless gloves to Christmas ornaments.  There is something for everyone.  I have dabbled in a lot of crafts, and have mastered almost none…but what defines master really?  I can make jewelry from bracelets to necklaces to feather earrings.  I knit fantastic things from baby blankets to fingerless gloves to slouchy berets.  I have done tie dying, sewing of accessories and skirts, and all of this will be brought to this blog.
As for the fun and laughter, all the above will be accomplished while I juggle my full time job, my part time job, and college!  I am 30 years old.  I work fulltime at a very large medical facility.  I process advanced directives, do quality assurance measuring, and support the electronic medical records for 200+ physicians.  As for my part time job.  I work as a firefighter/paramedic and one of the best fire departments around!  I love my fire department family immensely.  There's never a dull moment on our crew nights.  And then there is college!  I have 3 technical degrees as of right now, and I'm currently working on my associates of applied science - paramedic.  Classes are interesting, as are the people in them.
So what do you say we let the fun begin!  There's a lot more schooling to go, and stories to be told!  If you do take on a project based off one of my blog entries let me know how it goes, or how you liked it.  Feedback is always welcomed.  Also if there is something you want me to try submit it to me and I'll see what I can do.
